 | Pre-Authorized Donations
After much discussion between Father Waldemar, St. Peter’s Finance Committee, the Diocese and recognizing the needs of our parishioners, it has been decided that St. Peter’s will be offering more options in how you can make your Sunday and Special Collection Offerings. Our goal is threefold. First, to make processing your Sunday Offerings as easy as possible, second, to help reduce the cost of producing envelopes each year and lastly to allow more forms of payment for things in house such as registration fees, flower or other donations and Mass Stipends.
Beginning immediately we will be offering pre-authorized withdrawal and pre-authorized credit card transactions for your offerings. As with any other pre-authorized payment you will specify the amount, and frequency of the donation. In the case of a pre-authorized bank withdrawal you will supply the church office with a void cheque, specify the amount you wish to donate and how often you wish to donate it. The same can now be done with Visa or MasterCard, with the added bonus that you can collect air miles or any other benefit your credit card offers when you make your donation in this way. Both forms of payment make your Sunday Offering an easy, no hassle process. There are no additional fees charged for using either the pre-authorized withdrawal or pre-authorized credit card transaction service. No longer will you have to worry about writing a cheque or remembering an envelope. Your church account will be credited for all donations made throughout the year and they will appear on your tax receipt the same as always.
We want to assure you that the security of your financial information is uppermost in our minds. Our interact terminal is password protected and all financial information is kept in a locked safe which has limited access.
You can also come into the office and pay for Mass stipends, flower or other donations and registration fees by debit, Visa or Mastercard.
