GIFT CARDS, GIFT CARDS, GIFT CARDS:
We have over 50 different vendors that we either have in stock or we can order gift cards for. The complete list is available in the vestibule of the church before and after weekend Masses, at the parish office during the week or 24/7 on our website, stpetersnanaimo.ca. Cards can be purchased via credit card, debit card, cash or cheques. Cards that we don’t stock take a week to arrive so order early. This is a fantastic way to do your shopping and to help support your parish. We have major repairs (stucco falling off, leaky walls) we need to save for and only through your generosity will we be able to do all that must be done.
LITURGICAL AND DEVOTIONAL PRAYERS OVER THE CENTURIES:
Sponsored by the Diocesan Liturgical Commission, Fr. John Hibbard will give a 60 minute presentation on the topic: How do we pray? Liturgical and Devotional Prayer over the Centuries. John G. Hibbard, a presbyter of the Archdiocese of Kingston, holds a Master of the Arts in Liturgy from the University of Notre Dame.
There are three opportunities to hear the talk and ask questions. Each evening will begin at 7pm. Tuesday, February 7th at St. Patrick’s, Victoria, Wednesday, February 8th at St. Peter’s, Nanaimo and Thursday, February 9th at Christ the King Courtenay. To register for the workshops, please contact the appropriate parish: St. Patrick’s at 250-592-7391 (parishsecretary@telus.net); St. Peter’s at 250-753-3570 (sec.stpetersrc@shaw.ca) or Christ the King at 250-334-4716 (ctkparish@shaw.ca)
