The "Hem of the Garment", St. Peter's charismatic prayer group, meets Thursdays at 8pm, all year round, in the parish hall.  We are part of the Catholic charismatic renewal, as approved by Popes Paul VI, John Paul II ad Benedict XVI.  As charismatics, we praise God joyfully, exercise the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and pray for the needs of those attending and others who are brought to our attention.  Our membership is about half Catholic and half Christians from other denominations, but we are always in obedience with the Catholic Church, to our Pastor and our Bishop.  Newcomers are always welcome; there is no pressure to participate beyond your comfort level, and we are always happy to answer questions or explain anything that seems unfamiliar.  We never collect money.  Leader of the group is Richard Dunstan, a longtime St. Peter's parishioner who is also chair of the provincial charismatic service committee and a member of the national service committee.  For more information please email Richard Dunstan.
