St. Peter's Parish has been a place of faith, worship, and community for nearly 150 years. Since September 1876, when the first permanent resident priest arrived to serve the Catholic community in Nanaimo, our parish has continued to grow as a spiritual home where people gather to encounter Christ, celebrate the Sacraments, and journey together in faith.

Rooted in our rich Catholic tradition, we are committed to proclaiming the Gospel, nurturing faith formation, and serving our community with compassion and love. Through our ministries, liturgies, outreach programs, and the dedication of generations of parishioners, we strive to create a welcoming place where everyone can belong.
